| The leaves at 80 MPH |
Okay, maybe not my most creative title, but wow, look at that tableau! This trip began not even close to a GET adventure. My husband and I were on our way to close my mom and dad's camp at Geneva on the Lake, OH. I took my camera along because I knew the fall folliage was going to be awesome! Best fall in recent memory...

The limb that broke the canopy's back! |
I was also messing with my camera settings because after taking so many pics for school functions... I have realized I need more than the auto settings (I still need a new lens!) and need to step up my game.
Closing camp went easy, peasy, so we had lots of time to play around in our old "stomping ground." Who would have thought we would finish so early, we would have no place to eat!?!

| This used to be stairs going down. |
We did laundry next (if you follow me... no I still do not have laundry). The camp laundromat is nice, so it wasn't bad for a needed time waster, and it is always a necessity. We tried to check out the overlook across from the camp (where we got engaged - BTW), and it had changed. They took out the stairs that took you down the hill on the overlook and replaced it with a fence and two nice benches. Not what we were expecting, but still a nice view.
We decided to head to Elk's Lodge #208. We are members in Greenville, PA, so we thought it would be cool to visit a different lodge to see how they do things. I have been there a couple of times, but this was my husband's first time. We were still too early to eat, so we took a stroll on the awesome private beach that is part of the lodge property. We started out looking for beach glass, but it morphed into an incredible GET with a spectacular tableaux at the end.

No commentary is necessary for the pics below... simply enjoy and watch how the tableau transforms before your eyes!
Our walk and adventure ended with my husband "going out on a limb" with one of my son's favorite poses!
We grew "tire"d and hungry... we had no idea what time it was, so we crossed our fingers and headed back up to the club.
We enjoyed our meal there where we discovered that one of our pieces of beach glass (orange and clear,
which glows under the black light), exactly matched our pineapple upside down cake drinks!
