November 30, 2023 (although it all started awhile ago) On Thursday, I had the honor and pleasure of being a local freelance photography at the Neffex Born a Rockstar World Tour in Cleveland, OH. That is the culmination of the story. It all began about a two months ago (for my son, this is a journey that began pre-Covid). My son is a big fan of the artist Neffex . I know... who is Neffex. Well, he is an awesome guy who set out to be a rockstar by leaving a 9-5 job and just starting to write music. Even Spotify can not determine is genre, but he has a very eclectic fan base, which primarily became gamers, but has grown since then. Why gamers you may ask? Well, his music in copyright free. He encourages fans to use it, and the games were the first to do is because it is pretty awesome for montages and fight signs to be blunt... he has some rap, some hip-hop, some pop, and some rock. He really is a combo, but his message is all the same... be you at all costs... no matter wh...

10/14/2022 The leaves at 80 MPH Okay, maybe not my most creative title, but wow, look at that tableau! This trip began not even close to a GET adventure. My husband and I were on our way to close my mom and dad's camp at Geneva on the Lake, OH. I took my camera along because I knew the fall folliage was going to be awesome! Closing camp went easy, peasy, so we had lots of time to play around in our old  "stomping ground." Who would have thought we would finish so early, we would have no place to eat!?! This used to be stairs going down.  We did laundry next (if you follow me... no I still do not have laundry). The camp laundromat is nice, so it wasn't bad for a needed time waster, and it ...

Gettin' squirrely and just nuts about it!

August 8, 2022 This tableau is my time at Cascade Park in New Castle, PA with my son! Although the park is totally awesome with a waterfall and lots of history, the best part of this day was playing with the wildlife that we encountered along the way. I don't GET to do this type of thing with my son since he is away at college, so we took the time on this cloudy day to take a stroll around the park, but we didn't anticipate we would see so much wildlife on our walk. You can read more details about the park via the link above, but the bottom line is this used to be an amusement park that was founded in the late 1800s. There are still some of the roller coaster that's claim to fame was going through the woods. Can you can see the rails on the picture on the left and what is left of a base on the right. When you enter the park, you pass the ballroom that features a wooden dance floor (and can be rented for special events). We passed by the italian ice stand which is open ea...
